![]() Gueydan High School had two valedictorians in Wednesday night graduation ceremony held at the Gueydan High School Gym. Trenton Vallo and Amelia Zaunbrecher. The two were born on the same day at the same hospital only two hours apart. They each graduated with a 3.95 GPA.

![]() LOUISIANA FLAG DONATION - The Abbeville Country recently received a Louisiana flag donated by Woodmen of the World Lodge 714 in Maurice. Donating the flag to the club was Woodmen agent Scott Menard (left, yellow shirt). The organizations, who have their meetings at the Country Club, will be able to use the flag. Representing the organizations are (left to right) Bertha Mire, who is president of the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce, Lance Savoie, representing the Abbeville Rotary Club, and Anita Chiasson, representing the Abbeville Kiwanis Club.
