Thu A. Thi Nguyen, a native of Abbeville and graduating senior at LSU for the spring 2012 semester. Thu is also a recipient of the prestigious University Medal, given to graduating seniors with the highest grade point averages in the class.
The medalists were honored at a special ceremony held on Thursday, May 18, at the LSU Union Theater, and were also recognized during the main commencement ceremony on Friday, May 11, in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
