Kevin Abshire and Tara Trahan
The bride-elect is the grand-daughter of Joseph (Buster) and Wanda LaPointe of Gueydan. Tara is a graduate of Gueydan High School and is currently employed at the Gueydan Memorial Guest Home.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Clanes and Rosa Richard of Morse and also Etheleen Abshire and the late Danes Abshire of Crowley. Kevin is a graduate of Midland High School and is currently employed by the Town of Gueydan.
The Wedding ceremony will take place Saturday, June 30 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Gueydan.
