The bride is the daughter of Michael and Trudie Broussard, of Abbeville. She is the granddaughter of the late Irvin Broussard and Mrs. Ruby Broussard, of Abbeville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy, and Irene LeBlanc, of Erath.
The groom is the son of Scott and Julia Nunez, of Erath, and Mr. and Mrs. Webster DuBois Jr., of Erath. He is the grandson of Daniel and Ella Romero, of Abbeville, Webster and Judy DuBois Sr., of Erath, and Scotty and Harriet Nunez, of Erath.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a V-neckline sheath two-piece gown with charmeuse satin lining and lacy appliqué overlay, which was adorned with embroidery and crystals. To complement her look, the bride wore a single white phalaenopsis orchid in her hair. She carried a large bouquet of white stemmed phalaenopsis orchids.
Awaiting his bride, the groom wore an all black tux, vest and shirt with an ivory tie. He wore a single white phalaenopsis orchid to complement his look.
Cecily Broussard, friend of the bride, served as the maid of honor, and Melanie Breaux Broussard, sister-in-law of the bride, Taylor Desormeaux, cousin of the groom, Ahna Bergeron, friend of the bride, and Shalee Cessac, friend of the bride, served as the bridesmaids during the ceremony. Ashley DuBois, sister of the groom, and Brittany DuBois, sister of the groom, served as the junior bridesmaids during the ceremony.
The bridal attendants wore dark teal floor-length one shoulder dresses with pleats on the bust and skirt. The back of the dress featured a knee-length slit. They carried small bouquets of white stemmed phalaonopsis orchids.
Dreycen ‘Toogie’ Bergeron, friend of the groom, served as the best man, and Justin Broussard, brother of the bride, Clint Pesson, friend of the groom, Caleb Rung, friend of the groom, and Jake Bares, friend of the groom, served as the groomsmen.
The groomsmen wore all black tuxes, black shirts and vests, with dark teal ties.
Courtney DuBois, sister of the groom, and Mallory Hebert, godchild of the groom, served as the flower girls and Clayton Broussard, godchild of the bride, served as the ring bearer during the ceremony.
Patrick Desormeaux, cousin of the groom, and Hunter Girouard, friend of the groom, served as the ushers during the ceremony.
The mother of the bride wore a shimmer amethyst V-neck, A-line gown with a three-quarter sleeve and gathered waistband. A rhinestone clip on the left side of the gown and rhinestones highlighted the sleeve.
The mother of the groom wore an iridescent amethyst strapless A-line gown, which featured a beaded sweetheart neckline and pleaded bodice and a beaded emblem decorating the waist. To complement her look, she wore a matching three-quarter sleeved bolero.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Vocalist and Pianist Francis LeBlanc and Trumpeter Jude Gaspard.
Dana Romero, aunt of the groom, and Brenda Broussard, aunt of the bride, provided readings during the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at St. Theresa Family Life Center.
Upon returning from a seven-day cruise to the Caribbean Islands, the couple plans to reside in Abbeville.
