The award is given to the top high school athletes in Vermilion Parish.
The male winner is VC senior Aaron David, while the female winner is senior Kate Faulk of North Vermilion.
David played quarterback for VC and orchestrated his squad to a perfect season. He also played basketball and was the catcher for the VC baseball team.
Faulk did everything at North Vermilion. She played volleyball, basketball, softball and was the manager for the football team.
