With their “Meet and Greet” session held before school began, Dozier Elementary is now planning to host their fall parent orientation meetings for grades 1-5. (Note: These meetings will not include the students.)

Dozier Elementary Principal Karla Toups stated, “There is much to be gained when parents and teachers meet face to face, to discuss educational issues.” The orientation sessions have been set up to learn more about school procedures and to hear about specific classroom information. The parents/guardians are asked to meet in the cafeteria first, and then they will proceed to the classrooms with individual teachers.

Administrators and faculty members have set their orientation dates as follows:

· 1st Grade-Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 6 p.m.

· 2nd Grade-Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m.

· 3rd & 4th Grade (together)-Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 6 p.m.

· 5th Grade-Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m.
