Dozier participates in AR competition

Last year, Dozier Elementary began a new reward system for AR Comprehension points. At the end of each six weeks, Dozier Elementary Librarian Schuyler Poche posts one very large graph near the library that shows each class’ mastery percentage in terms of comprehension with the tests taken. The top class with the highest percentage of correct answers for the six weeks earns an AR Accuracy donut party. The second six weeks winner was Mrs. Rebecca Yates' second grade class. The project helps students understand that mastering comprehension is an important goal of the AR program.
