Mr. and Mrs. Mark Jude Duhon of Abbeville are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Melanie Suzanne Duhon, to Matthew James Michael Robins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Robins of Milton Keynes, England.

The couple will be united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony Saturday, May 28, 2011, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Irene Decuir Noel and the late Leopold Noel Jr. Her paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. George Duhon, all of Abbeville.

Melanie is a graduate of Marymount University in Arlington, Va. with a bachelor of arts degree in interior design. She is employed by FOX Architects in Washington, D.C.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Jennie McCall of Wales, England and the late Thomas John Waters. His paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. William Robins of London, England.

Matthew is a graduate of The University College of Northhampton in England with a bachelor of arts honors degree in business and management science. Matthew also holds a certificate in international business practice from Cambridge University. He is currently the director of Global Health Consulting, Ltd.

After the wedding, the couple will reside in Washington, D.C.
