Jeanerette — Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday, April 27, 2012 at First Jerusalem Baptist Church for Mr. Earl Lee Sparrow, Sr. 66. Rev. Arthur Lee Alexander will officiate the service.

A resident of Jeanerette, LA, he passed away at 3:15am on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at his home.

He leaves to cherish his fond memory, his loving wife Priscilla Phillips Sparrow of Jeanerette, LA; three sons, Earl Lee Sparrow, Jr.(Shanette) of Stillwater, OK; Kenneth Sparrow(Deylnn) and Danny Sparrow(Kelly) both of Jeanerette, LA; one daughter, Sonya Michelle Charles of New Iberia, LA; his mother, Hester Harris Sparrow of Abbeville, LA; his step-children, Karnisha Bobb, Brandon Bobb and Miranda Bobb all of Jeanerette, LA; one sister, Beverly Faye Green(Joseph) of Baton Rouge, LA; four brothers, Donald Ray Sparrow(Irma) of Jeanerette, LA, Wayne Sparrow of Abbeville, LA, Jerol Sparrow(Rita) and Leroy Sparrow, Jr.(Carrie) both of Lafayette, LA; one aunt, Rose Lee (Rev. Joseph)Fields of Patterson, LA, Rose Mary Green of New Orleans, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Shontrell Sparrow, father Leroy Sparrow, Sr., maternal grandparents Pearl and Jake Harris, paternal gradparents Rev. Emily and George Sparrow

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 8:00am until time of service at the church.
