She is survived by one daughter, Tasha Dartez Leger of Abbeville; two brothers, Raywood Dartez and wife Ruth of Tennessee and Raoul Gaspard Jr. and wife Lisa of Forked Island; two sisters, Penny G. Kroll of New Orleans and Sonia Marceaux and husband Roy of Kaplan; three grandchildren, Edward "Zo" Burleson, Alexyss "NuNu" Willis and Aleah "Tootie" Willis, all of Abbeville; six nieces; and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Beo" Rice; her fahter, Emery "Pete" Dartez; and her mother, Edna Stelly Gaspard.
Arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan.
