Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Earline Rose Meaux, 72, who died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Noah Langley officiating the services.

She is survived by one son, Michael Brohen of Rhode Island; his mother, Lannie Marceaux Meaux of Kaplan; five brothers, Wilton Jared Meaux of Kaplan, Alcdie J. Meaux of Kaplan, Ellic J. Meaux of Bridge City, Texas, Anthony H. Meaux of Kaplan and Francis H. Meaux of Lafayette; and one grandchild, Zachary Michael Brohen of Wrentham, Massachusetts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ellic Joseph Meaux; and her sister, Lou Ann Meaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 8 a.m. until services.
