The focus for the FIEB 4-6 grade 4-H meeting was a Louisiana Agriculture activity from the Discovering 4-H project book. All 4-Hers completed the activity by finding a Louisiana agriculture product with each letter of the alphabet. Students will work on completing their entire project book to turn in for record book competition in March.

President, Sydnee Gaspard, called the meeting to order at 9:30. Paitlon Ertan led the club in the Pledge of Allegiance, while Kayde Nicholas led the 4-H Pledge. Our secretary, Maci Gaspard, read the minutes of the last meeting and called roll. Members stated what they wanted for Christmas. Sydnee welcomed leaders, agents, and guests to the meeting. Adults in attendance were Mrs. Traci Simon and Mrs. Shannan Waits. Weston Theall, our treasurer, gave the monthly treasurer's report. To bring our club up to date on news articles and newspaper pictures submitted, I, Cailyn Simon, gave the reporter's report. The CRD chairman, Andre' Schexnyder, gave the CRD report. We then proceeded to the business part of our meeting.

Karlyn Trahan reported on the participants in the Personal Development Contest. The dog and pet show report was given by Mazie Kibodeaux. Briana Robinson gave the results of the Rice and Sugar Cookery Contest. The Bike Rodeo information was reported by Drake Abshire. Our new business was next.

Upcoming activities were the electric clinic and the honeybee essay given by Daylan Ryder and Macy Bufford. The meeting was turned over to the vice president, Anne Marie Broussard, for the educational program. Seth Suire and Ali Prejean gave a project demonstration on how to wrap a Christmas present.

The club then split into groups according to their grade level and played a holiday trivia Jeopardy game. The sixth graders were the winners. The agents discussed the month's Cracklin' and the meeting was adjourned at 10:30. (Article written and submitted by FIEB 4-H Reporter, Cailyn Simon)
