The Maurice branch of the Vermilion Parish Library will present a series of informational programs in partnership with the LSU AgCenter Research and Ext ension Service. These programs are free and open to the public; however, since space is limited, registration is required.

The programs being offered are:

September 29, 1:30 p.m. Learn about Cholesterol

Find out ways to cut the cholesterol in your diet, along with heart-healthy eating tips and ideas.

October 22, 10 a.m. Stretching Your food Dollar

Everyone needs to learn to manage a food budget in this economy. Learn easy tips to make your food dollars stretch.

November 3, 5:30 p.m. Diabetes and Nutrition

It is important to know about diabetes. This is an opportunity to learn how to prevent it, or to manage it for a long, healthy life.
