Korey and Heather Hargrave of Luling and Deborah Mire of Kaplan are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Ashlynn Simone Hargrave to Kenneth James Broussard Jr., son of Kenneth and Terry Broussard of Erath.

The couple will exchange vows at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kaplan during a 6 p.m. ceremony on the 21st day of May.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell LeBeouf of Kaplan and the late Mr. Bud Hargrave and Mrs. Leona Breaux of Kaplan.

She is a 2007 graduate of Kaplan High School and a 2010 graduate from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in communicative disorders. She will be attending Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas for a doctorate in audiology. She is currently employed at Cajun Hardware n Kaplan.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Broussard and Mr. Lovelace Breaux of Abbeville and the late Ms. Loula May Breaux of Abbeville.

He is employed by Cains Pipeline in Youngsville.
