James and Carla Herpin, originally of Kaplan, Louisiana, and currently of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Emily Nicole Herpin, to Michael David Mastrantonio, son of Thomas and Cynthia Mastrantonio, of Elmira, New York.

The couple plans to wed during a 7:00 p.m. ceremony held on January 20, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of John Herpin Sr. and the late Marguerite Herpin, of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Leona Breaux and the late Houise Hargrave, of Kaplan, Louisiana. She is a 2006 graduate of St. Michael the Archangel High School. Upon graduating from Louisiana State University, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in mass communication. She is currently employed by St. Joseph Holdings LLC, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Beverly Weiss and the late Angelo Mastrantonio Sr., of Elmira, New York, and Adela Love, of Refugio, Texas. He is a 2005 graduate of Elmira Free Academy. Upon graduating from State University of New York, College at Brockport, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in business management. He is currently employed by Progressive Insurance, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
