Eden, Texas — Joseph Ray Sellers, 77, died March 13, 2012 in Concho Nursing Home in Eden, Texas from a long term illness. He was raised in Henry, La. and moved to Texas to pursue his life time dream as a rice and soybean farmer.
He is survived by his 3 children Michael Ray Sellers & wife Delia of Devers, Texas; Dana Sellers Harwell & husband Tom of Humble, Texas and Sonia Lynn Sellers Renfroe of Brandon, Ms.; six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Numa Sellers and Flossie Toups; sister Shirley Landry and brother Alvin Sellers.
A private funeral was held by his family.
