Landry "Buddie" Mouton, age 77, a native and resident of Gueydan, died Friday, May 14th, at his residence.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 20th, at Hubbard United Church of Christ in Gueydan from 10:00 AM until funeral at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in the Gueydan Cemetery.
Landry was survived by his wife of 51 years, Muriel Margaret Trahan-Mouton of Gueydan, four sons, Bradley Paul (Colette) Mouton & Tung Van Mouton both of Gueydan, Brian Lee (Norman) Mouton of Crowley, and Albert Landry Mouton of Rayne, four daughters, Terry Lynn (Adam) Dora, Bessie Pauline (Joseph) Mouton, Alma Lynn (Micheal) Smith & Tracey Cardette Mouton all of Gueydan, a sister, Estelle Petry of Abbeville, a brother, Raymond "BOZO" Baptist of Abbeville, and a host of relatives and friends, twenty-one grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
