Lauren Paige LeMaire and Casey Bryant Simon exchanged vows of marriage on April 2, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kaplan. The ceremony was officiated was Father David Broussard.

Lauren is the daughter of Dawn H. LeMaire of Abbeville and David J. LeMaire of Abbeville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hardy of Abbeville and Mr. and Mrs. Harris LeMaire of Abbeville.

Casey is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene and Eva Simon of Kaplan. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. LJ Trahan of Kaplan and the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Simon of Kaplan.

The bride was escorted by her father David J. LeMaire.

The bride wore a gown with an a-line silhouette that flowed into a soft and flowing chiffon skirt. The empire waistline was accented with exquisite, hand-beaded lace and detail trailing from the waist to the end of the chapel-length train. The bride wore an elbow-length veil with a satin trim.

She carried a bouquet of white peonies, calla lilies and stephanotis with small lilies.

The bride’s maid of honor was her sister Kami Rene LeMaire.

Bridesmaids included sister of the groom Jamie Romero, cousin of the bride Elizabeth Hardy and friends of the bride and groom Liberty Thibodeaux, Erica Bourque, Lauren Begnaud and Katelyn Hargrave. Junior bridesmaid was niece of the groom Kelsi Gaspard.

The bride’s attendants wore strapless satin, teal-colored dresses with inverted seams, a dropped waist and a deep v in the back of the dress. They carried bouquets of white and light green mixtures of off-white hydrangea, off-white roses and small lilies.

The flowers girls were godchild of the bride Anni Layne LeMaire and niece of the groom Annalee Romero.

The flower girls each wore a spaghetti-strapped chiffon, baby doll, empire dress. The dress had pleated detail and hand-beaded embellishments that matched the bride.

The ring bearer was son of the bride and groom Mason Bryant Simon.

The groom’s best man was his friend Jace Michael Hebert.

Groomsmen included cousin of the bride Justin Faulk and friends Blake Guidry, Jeremiah Broussard, Treylon Lebeouf, Tyler Domingue and Chase Peltier. Junior groomsmen included brother of the bride Payton LeMaire and nephew of the groom Tallon Menard.

Ushers included cousin of the bride Tyler Faulk, friends of the groom Kyle Hollier and Kyle Frederick.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Metanoia Choir.

Readings were given by godmother of the bride Wendy L. Diz and friend of the bride and groom Taylor LeMaire.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the American Legion in Kaplan.

The couple will reside in Kaplan.
