Kati is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth “Keno” Lege of Maurice. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldes Touchet of Abbeville and Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Lege of Kaplan.
Zachary is the son of Mrs. Dawn Hebert Duhon of Abbeville and Mr. Michael Prejean of Lafayette. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Mahlen Hebert of Kaplan, Mr. Jack Prejean of Sulphur and Mrs. Donna Cooper of Abilene, Texas.
The bride was escorted by her father Keno Lege.
The bride wore a gown made of enchanted ivory lace and soft tulle with illusion lace cap sleeves trimmed with pearls. The sweetheart neckline featured ruched tulle, while lace accented the sides of the gown. An antique crystal brooch detail adorned the empire waist, as lace cascaded into the train for a dramatic effect. A fingertip veil trimmed with crystals completed her ensemble.
She carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory Vandela roses, cream orchids, looped bear grass and trimmed with her maternal grandmother’s rosary and handkerchief worn on her wedding day.
The bride’s maid of honor was her sister Karla L. Fanguy. The bridesmaids included her sister Shannon L. Gooch and friends Kelly V. Credeur, Lauren Frederick and Jill D. List. The junior bridesmaid was her godchild Kelsi Fanguy.
Each attendant wore canary, chiffon, knee-length dresses, with each dress fitting their own individual style. The look was accented with jewelry, a gift of the bride. Their bouquets were hand-tied ivory and white roses, yellow rose buds, crocus and hydrangeas with accents of red roses, sharon and bear grass.
The flower girl was niece of the groom Dahlia Duhon. She carried a kissing ball of yellow hydrangea with ivory ribbon.
The ring bearer was nephew of the bride Kayne Fanguy.
The groom’s best man was his brother Michael Prejean. The groomsmen included step-brother of the groom SrA. Sean McGovern and friends TSgt. Alex Cruz, SrA. Ryan Rogers and SSgt. Michael Savila.
The ushers included nephew of the bride Bryce Gooch and step-brother of the groom Tyler Duhon.
The bride’s mother wore an Alyce Designs strapless, mercury-colored, a-line dress with a fan pleated empire waist bodice featuring a beaded applique around the waist and a 3/4 length bolero. Her corsage was yellow crocus and white rose buds with red accent of rose of sharon and bear grass.
The groom’s mother wore a Jessica Howard, champagne-colored gown with cap sleeves, an asymmetrical neckline with a rhinestone brooch detail on the left shoulder, and a finely ruched bodice over a long, smooth, a-line skirt. Her corsage was yellow crocus and white rose buds with red accent of rose of sharon and bear grass.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Tammy Lynn Maturin and Libbey Maturin Thibodeaux, friend of the bride.
Readings were given by cousin of the bride Devin Romero and cousin of the groom Brandi Hebert.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Performance Center at Vermilionville.
After a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Abbeville.
