DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Maria Adeline Callahan Werner, age 87, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Fr. Herb Bennerfield will officiate at the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Friday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Saturday until service time.
A native of Theriot, LA and resident of Delcambre, Mrs. Werner passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at New Iberia Manor North Nursing Home.
She is survived by her son, Daniel “Danny” Ronsonet and his wife Marsha of Delcambre; her daughter in law, Martha Ronsonet of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren, Joseph “Joe” Ronsonet and wife Amy; Kimberly Belt and husband Tommy; Jillian Ronsonet; Blaine Ronsonet and Jade Ronsonet; six step grandchildren, Doug Vidrine; Shawn Hargrave; Scott Hargrave; Amie Reaux and husband Billy; James Savoy and Stacey Vidrine, three great grandchildren and twenty step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred M. Werner; son, Wayne Michael Ronsonet; parents, Desire and Lorina Thibodeaux Callahan;step granddaughter, Shannon Montagne; three brothers, Theodore, Constant and James Callahan and three sisters, Odile Melancon, Ertha Margaret Melancon and Louise Moody.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Ronsonet, Jade Ronsonet, Joseph “Joe” Ronsonet, Blaine Ronsonet, Curtis Louviere and Tommy Belt.
