Abbeville, LA - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Macedonia Baptist Church - 607 S. Bailey Street for Michelle Guidry Turner, 45. Rev. E.J. Guidry will officiate the service.
She will await the resurrection in St. Paul Cemetery-Abbeville, LA.
A life long resident of Abbeville, Michelle passed away at 8:05PM on Sunday, June 24,2012 at Abbeville General Hospital.
She leaves to cherish her fond memory, her devoted husband, Warren Turner of Abbeville, LA; her mother, Mary Lee Thompson, her father, Elliot Bessard, her step-father, Albert Thompson of Abbeville, LA; four sons, Barry Guidry, Gary Guidry, Michael Guidry, and Joseph Guidry, all of Abbeville, LA; four daughters, Shaquanda Guidry, Alma Guidry, Dominique Guidry, and Nekia Guidry all of Abbeville, LA; two brothers, Eric Washington of Jacksonville, FL and Gavin Willis of Lafayette, LA; three sisters, Satrona Washington, Jamilah Brown, and Daisha Thompson, all of Abbeville, LA; four aunts, Alberta Rice(Hayward), Rose Nunez(Robert), Brenda Matthews (Howard), and Eva Bessard all of Abbeville, LA; 11 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Rosabelle Willis; her grandfather, James Harris; her uncles, Hubert Bessard and Anderson Trice; and her aunt, Inez Trice.
Visitation will be held at the church Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 8:00 A.M. until time of service.
