Mix the cake mix and butter with the chocolate chips.
Pizzert!

Submitted by Beau Rogers (8) and his mother, Andrea.

Ingredients:

1 package refrigerated pizza dough (rec. thin-crust)

1 box yellow cake mix

1 – 12 ounce package of mini chocolate chips

1/2 cup butter (not margarine) melted

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

First you put the cake mix in one bowl. Then, put the butter in a different bowl and melt it in the microwave. Only a few seconds will do. Mix them together; the mix should be very crumbly. Then you add the chocolate chips.

Spray a pan with cooking spray or rub with butter and roll the pizza dough on it. Flatten the dough out with your clean fingers. Then, put the combined other ingredients on the dough and press it down with your hands.

Put it in the oven. Wait (10-15 minutes) and take it out when the crust and top are a little golden.

Take a knife and cut you a big slice; give your sister the smallest piece.

Beau recommends pairing this dessert with a large frosted glass of 2% milk.

You can jazz up this dessert pizza with your own choice of candy or other creative toppings.
