GUEYDAN - The concept is to send each child to school with everything he or she needs.

Supplies and donations will be distributed to children in need on Friday, August 10, at 4 p.m. at the Old Library.

The following is a list of what is needed for Jesse Owens students: Kindergarten; Please DO NOT put your child’s name of supplies above unless specified. All supplies will be stored and used by the whole class as needed.

1 thick coloring book (put

child’s name)

3 boxes of 8 small (regular)

“Crayola” crayons

1 pack regular sized pencils

(solid colors)

2 folders with pockets (with

NO metal fasteners inside

and NO side pockets)

1 box pint of quart freezer

ziploc bags (girls only)

1 box Kleenex

1 roll of paper towels (boys

only)

1 small plastic school box

(small size – about 8X5X2)

Backpack – large enough to put folder in and one which child can open and close (put child’s name).

First Grade

2 boxes of crayons (24 in a

box)

1 pair of blunt scissors

(Fiskars are the best)

1 coloring book

2 pocket folders

1 spiral notebook

1 package of loose leaf
