How long have you been exercising?
I’ve worked out for many years, but really got serious when I joined Snap Fitness.
What is your current exercise regimen?
I am at Snap Fitness 4 times per week at 6:30am. I walk on the treadmill and ride the bike for 30 minutes, and use machines to keep my joints in good shape.
What are your primary fitness goals?
Primarily was to lose weight, now that I’ve lost the weight, I continue my program to keep it off and to feel energized.
Do you exercise outside of the gym?
When I can’t make it to Snap, I walk in Erath Park or the football stadium.
What are some of your favorite healthy foods?
Subway sandwiches and salads, fish, protein and veggies
Do you reward yourself for your dedication to a healthy lifestyle?
When I splurge—I splurge! I eat sushi and go shopping.
What is your main motivation for exercising?
My motivation is my kids and also, I just love coming workout at Snap Fitness. It feels great to be able to come when I want. Exercise is a great stress reliever, I just put my headphones on and get away from it all!
Advice to others…
If you want to keep the weight off and stay healthy and energized, eat less and exercise more. If you splurge on food, you always know that you can come here to work it off. Don’t worry about “100 sit ups” – because it will never come off, unless you are on that cardio machine, burning off the calories.
