Kari Reneé Stott and Chase Paul Menard were joined in marriage on April 27, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at the Erath Community Center in Erath, Louisiana. Roland Suire officiated the service.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chad and Sonya Stott, of Erath. She is the granddaughter of Morton and Linda Stott, of Erath, Linda Richard and the late Robert Choate, both of Abbeville.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Karen Menard and the late Mr. Whitney Menard, both of Erath.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a one piece, strapless gown made of diamond, white satin. The gown featured a soft, sweetheart neckline and drop waist with a cathedral length train embellished with siler embroidery and crystal detailing. To complete her ensemble, the bride wore a should length veil and three-quarter sleeve diamond, white satin bolero jacket. Her dress came from David’s Bridal in Lafayette. Her flowers came from Acadian Flowers.

Natasha LeBlanc, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Bobbie Hebert, friend of the bride, Dawn Harrington, cousin of the bride, Britnie Menard, sister of the groom, and Whitnie Menard, sister of the groom. The bridal attendants wore Alfred Angelo black dresses with a fuchsia trimmed top and hem.

Devon Sherman, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Stott, brother of the bride, Louis Hebert, III, friend of bride, Shawn Hoffpauir, friend of the bride, and Peter Chanthaphone, friend of the groom.

The mother of the bride wore a mocha colored, one piece dress from Charima’s with a fuchsia corsage.

The mother of the groom wore a two-piece black dress suit with a fuchsia corsage.

Amanda Meaux, goddaughter of the bride, and Riley Stott, cousin of the bride, served as flower girls. Landon Girouard, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Joey Thibodeaux.

The couple plans to take a honeymoon cruise in August. They will reside in Erath, Louisiana.
