Ted and Vickie Tiedeman of Jennings are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Lynn to Brandon James Cormier, son of Roger and Sharon Cormier of Gueydan. The bride-elect is the grand-daughter of Jan and Tony Smith of Hawthorne, FL and Ron and Lucy LeBlanc of Jennings.

Rebecca is a 2008 graduate of Jennings High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a degree in Early Childhood Education.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Rose and Eugene Cormier and Johnny Hebert and the late Maudrey Hebert all of Gueydan.

Brandon is a 2006 graduate of Gueydan High School and also attended Louisiana State University at Eunice. He is currently employed with Hilcorp Energy Company as a Measurement Technician.

The wedding ceremony will take place Friday, June 15 at 6:30 p. m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Gueydan with a reception following at the Gueydan Civic Center.
