Boaters continue to throw their trash on the landing. The paper is flying over the marsh and into Schooner Bayou.
The Sheriff’s Office, Wildlife and Fisheries and the Coast Guard got a chance to see how trashy Hebert’s Landing in Little Prairie (near Forked Island) is these days. These departments docked out the landing to search for a missing man for the last four days. What they saw was a trash can on the dock that had not been emptied in months. Despite the trash, boaters continue to throw their trash on the dock. The trash was flying all over the dock and ending up in the woods.
