Two teens cling to life following fatal I-20 collision

SHREVEPORT – Two teenage boys injured when a car enroute to a lake get-together cross the Interstate 20 median and hit two others remain in Shreveport hospitals.

Two teen girls -- Arien Manshack, 17, the driver,a nd Megan Mote, 16, the front-seat passenger, died in the friday afternoon crash.

Manshack was a student at Evangel Christian Academy; Mote was enrolled at Captain Shreve High.

Jonathon Bartley, 18, and Justin Venable, 17, are in intensive care units. They were in the backseat of the car.

Authorities continue to investigate why Manshack’s vehicle went out of control.
