The bride is the daughter of Bonita Hopkins and Phillip Vincent, of Kaplan. She is the granddaughter of the late Minus and Louise Abshire, and Helen Vincent and the late Horace Vincent of Leroy.
The bridegroom is the son of Mark and Annette Fontenot, of Ville Platte. He is the grandson of Ruth Fontenot and the late Theo Fontenot, of Ville Platte and the late Bruce and Geraldine Soileau, of Ville Platte.
The bride was attended by her matron of honor, Leslie LeMaire. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Fontenot, Amanda Landry, Kate Herpin, Nicole Vidalier, Michelle Broussard, Ashley Himel, Hannah LeMaire, and Laina Vincent. Flower girl was Olivia LeMaire. Junior bridesmaids were Ansley and Abbie Babaz.
The bridegroom was attended by his best man, Joel Coldiron. Groomsmen were Jeff Thevenot, Steven Bellelo, Tommy Manuel, Scott Soileau, Dustin Vidrine, Tony Aswell, Jacob Fusilier, and Mike LeMaire. Ushers were Brandon Fontenot, Doug Perron, and Christopher Vidrine. Ring bearer was Andrew Faye. Junior groomsmen was Ethan LeMaire.
Escorted by her father and stepfather, the bride wore an elegant ivory Pattis strapless fit-and flare gown that featured a sweetheart neckline made of silk taffeta. The gown was ruched and adorned with hand-beaded lace applique. It had a pleaded ruffle on one side with a hint of tulle for a unique twist. It was accented with a chapel-length train.
Following the ceremony, a reception took place at The Warehouse in Rayne. After a honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii, the couple will reside in Baton Rouge.
