Dr. James Gray, Vermilion Parish Supervisor of School Leadership, listens carefully to Khalil Landry, a fourth grader at Eaton Park Elementary, as he explains his academic data binder during Student-led Conferences which were held on November 1, 2012.  The data that was shared included Khalil's academic goals set for himself this year, first nine week report card, Star Reading scores, Star Math scores,  Accelerated Reader goals, last year's iLeap data along with sample writing from the beginning of the year.  This data binder is a tool used to empower students to interpret their school data and make them accountable for their academic success and achievement.
