Two people were injured Friday at around 5:30 p.m. in a single car accident on La. 339, two miles north of Erath.

Travis Pedigo of Abbeville and Trivini Pillette of Erath were in the car when for unknown reasons it ran off the road and flipped in a ditch, stopping right before a telephone pole.

According to friends of Pillette at the accident, they were both talking while medics worked on them and claimed to have crawled out of the car.

It was unknown if both went to a local hospital in Acadian Ambulance.

It was also unknown who was driving, and if they were wearing seat belts.
