Officers charged a woman with stop sign violation and driving under suspension.

Police received a complaint that dogs were loose and were harassing neighbors. Upon officer arrival, the dogs were secured. Owners were also advised that they were moving OCL. Officers attempted contact with the dog owners, but were unable to do so.

A man told police that, while his daughter had been in the hospital, an unknown person had broken into her home and stolen items.

A woman told police that another woman went to an area business and wanted to fight with her. The other woman was gone prior to officer arrival. Officers advised the woman to call them if she returned.

Police were told that somebody broke the front door window and the back door on a house. Officers spoke with the landowner and he advised he was not going to pursue charges because the damage was minor. The man also told police that meat was stolen out of the house.

Officers advised a man to get permission before he started picking people’s pecans.

Officers responded to an activated alarm system. They learned it was a false alarm, as there was a problem with the alarm system.

Officers arrested a woman with stop sign violation. possession of cigarettes, and possession of marijuana.

S. Louisiana

A man told police that he had clothes at a certain residence, in which he was told he could not return to until he paid rent. Officers advised both the man and the home owner that this was a civil matter. Officers received the clothes and returned them to the man. Officers also advised him that if there was anything missing, to talk to the city marshall to return to the house if he needed to retrieve anything else.

A caller wanted to document that the glass had been broken into because she was moving out and that nothing was taken.

A woman told police that her boyfriend had gotten into an altercation over a weed eater with another man. Her boyfriend was transported to the emergency room because of possible battery that may have occurred. The other man recovered his weed eater. Officers advised the woman’s boyfriend to go to the police station after he received medical treatment if he wanted to file any charges.

Hawthorne

A woman told police that, while she was asleep, her prescription pill bottle was stolen. The only people in her house at the time were her son, daughter, and daughter’s boyfriend. The matter is still under investigation.

A woman told police that an unknown subject was using her debit card to make purchased in other states.

A man told police that somebody was using his debit card to make purchases online.

A man told police that his aunt somehow obtained the title to his deceased father’s vehicle. After a consultation with the family attorney, they were advised to file charges because they did not give, nor did the aunt have, any legal authority to have the vehicle registered in her name.

Officers were able to gain entry into a quadriplegic woman’s home. She heard voices inside of her home, but after officers searched the home and found nobody inside.

A woman told police that a subject keeps threatening her if she won’t give him his medicines all at once. She said he threatens to burn down her house. Officers are working on the case.

A woman told police that another woman is stalking her and may possibly had put scratches in her car. Charges will be accepted on the woman for stalking.

N. Bailey

A woman told police that another woman beat and kicked her four-year old daughter. Statements were taking and OCS was informed of the incident. The reported woman left prior to the report and a warrant is to be obtained for her arrest for cruelty to a juvenile.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident.

Officers arrested a man for driving under suspension.

A man told police that approximately $300-400 worth of meat products were stolen from an outside freezer. The man wanted to make a report and requested extra officer patrol.

A woman told police that her cell phone had been stolen, but later called and said she found the phone and that she obviously had misplaced it.

A woman told police that she let another woman borrow her vehicle and that woman stole $45 and six Loratabs. The woman said she wanted to file charges on her.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident.

A woman told police that she thinks her ex-boyfriend is tapping her phone line. She is unable to make sure it is him, therefore, there can be no charges filed.

Police were told of a man who appeared to be intoxicated. After speaking with him, officers learned he was not intoxicated, but was handicapped.
