LAFAYETTE - A house fire leaves a man dead, and his death on the hands of four juveniles, accused of starting the fire, with fireworks.

It happened Wednesday night in Opelousas on Burr Street in Lafayette. Residents are in shock over the news of 55 year old Johnny Little's death.

Making matters worse is the fact it all could have been avoided. Police tell us four juveniles started the fire by firing roman candles into Little's home.

Police have already arrested a 16 year old and three 14 year olds, all who will face charges of arson and second degree murder.

Even though this does appear to be a prank gone horribly wrong, Lafayette Police Chief Perry Gallow tells us they won't be going easy on the kids responsible for this fire.
