Despite the rain, many people came out to enjoy the great food cooked by the 19 teams. The winner was Team “Big Nasty” whose chief chef was Ben Langlinais.
Music was provide by Nichole Marceaux and her band, and the children enjoyed face painting.

For a $1 donation, you have a chance to win one of our prizes. 1st prize - $7,500, 2nd prize - $2,000, and 3rd prize - $500. On Monday, Jan. 31, the celebration of Catholic Schools Week continued as students, faculty, parents, grandparents, alumni and friends gathered in the Vermilion Catholic gym for our annual Catholic Schools Week Mass.
Special guest for the Mass were Sister Beth Fitzpatrick, President of the Congregation of the Sisters of Mt. Carmel, Dr. Nancy Ehret, Assistant Superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Lafayette and Mayor Mark Piazza.
