MANY -- A man facing life in prison for killing a Zwolle resident will be tried in Rapides Parish in a similar case.

Troy Lee Mundey was convicted of the 2nd degree murder of William Meshell. A jury believed he hit Meshell over the head in May 2007, robbed him and dumped his body in nearby Toledo Bend Reservoir.

Four months later, Mundey was tied to the crime by DNA evidence.

Meanwhile, Rapides authorities believe, he killed Harvey Pickering of Boyce and dumped his body in nearby Rodemacher Lake.

Mundy will be sentenced in Sabine Parish in June.
