I started exercising at Snap Fitness 3 months ago, before then, I was not exercising.
What is your current exercise regimen?
I go to Snap 5 days a week. I walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes and do the seated elliptical machine for 30 minutes every day and strength-training with machines every other day.
What are your primary fitness goals?
I joined Snap to lose weight, increase strength and to feel better.
Do you exercise outside of the gym?
I work in my yard, keeping up 1 and ½ acres, but it is so hot outside—it is nice coming to snap to exercise indoors.
How have your eating habits changed since beginning an exercise regimen?
Since coming to Snap, I eat less. I snack on fruits and vegetables. I have also cut back a lot on rice and bread.
What is your main motivation for exercising?
To lose weight and have more energy to play with my grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Lefrayeis 74-years old and a resident of Erath. In the 3 months of being a member of Snap Fitness, he has lost 30 pounds. He accredits his weight-loss to his grandson, Scott Segura, Snap Fitness Certified Personal Trainer. Mr. Lefraye refers to Scott as his “personal” personal trainer. He says without Scott’s help he wouldn’t be so consistent. “Scott, not only motivates me, but sets and adjusts all my machines for me, because, I wouldn’t remember.” Scott enjoys his daily visits with his grandfather, strengthening their bond and he is extremely proud of his grandfather’s dedication and determination.
We, at Snap are also very proud of Mr. Lefraye and admire his dedication and consistency – he is truly an inspiration!
