Events:
I. Powder Puff events: Erath's Homecoming festivities will be held the week of October 7 this year, however, the EHS Powder Puff event was held earlier on Tuesday, September 20 as a "Jump Start Event" to the homecoming festivities.
In addition to flag football games between the classes, the Powder Puff court was presented, the King was crowned and the Homecoming Court members were announced . Those on the Powder Puff Court included: Joshua Adams, Cole Bourque, Peter Broussard, Hunter Picard, Ryan Poche, Brad Primeaux, Cade Romero, Fred Watson and Antonio Willis. The 2011 King was Hunter Picard. The 2011 Homecoming Court members were named at the Powder Puff game. Those included: Christen Landry, Megan Perkins, Chastity Theriot, Noelle Hebert, Alexis Chiasson, Alyssa Hernandez, Lauren LeBlanc, Samantha Cawyer and Jena Suire. The queen will be announced and crowned at the Homecoming game on October 7.
I. Thursday, October 6, 2011- Hall of Fame and Tea-Community Center, Erath City Park 7:00 PM (Includes) Hall of Fame Induction for MC Dore and Lance Mergist, as well as the Alumni Social with the 2011 Homecoming Court as the Hostesses.
II. Friday, October 7, 2011 Events
1. Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 7:45 AM
2. Visitation Times for the area schools:
- Erath High Visitation 9:00 a.m.-10:45 a.m. (Courtyard)
· Erath Middle Visitation 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
·Dozier Elementary Visitation 8:30 a.m. -10:00 a.m.
3. EHS Pep Rally 10:45–11:45 AM-EHS Gymnasium
4. Homecoming Parade -12:30 p.m. - Parade route map and directions are listed on the school Web site. (The route will be the same as last year and will go directly to the Dozier Elementary campus.)
5. Approximate dismissal times and procedures are currently listed on each of the school sites.
5. Presentation of Homecoming Court and Crowning of the 62nd Homecoming Queen – 6:15 p.m.
6. Football Game (EHS vs. Abbeville High @ 7 p.m.) Robert J. Segura Stadium.
