New Student Council Officers Elected! The 2011-12 Dozier Elementary Student Council Officers include: (front) Camyrn Delcambre- secretary, Camyrn Hebert- parliamentarian, Kaylee Faulk- president;  Andrew Sonnier- vice president;  (back)  Catherine Hebert- treasurer and  Alex Granger- reporter.
In 2009, upon Dozier's arrival back to their home facility after their displacement due to Hurricane Rita's flooding, fourth grade (who was housed at Erath Middle School) returned to Dozier and fifth grade was added.

With the additional grade level  added, came with it a Dozier Elementary Student Council for the first time in the school's history. In October 2011, the school elected its third set of Student Council officers. The student council assists with events in a number of ways. One of the first projects on the agenda will involve creating a video (commercial)  for the school's "Eye on Tech" program to spotlight their growing technology program, in hope of bringing more donations to their tech program!

The 2011-12 Officers include:  Kaylee Faulk- president; Andrew Sonnier- vice president; Alex Granger- reporter; Catherine Hebert- treasurer; Camyrn Hebert- parliamentarian, and Camyrn Delcambre- secretary.
