Brittany Michelle Clostio and Raywood John Stevens were united in marriage during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony held on Friday, November 11, 2011, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kaplan, Louisiana. Father Kendall Faulk presided over the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Clostio, of Abbeville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Clostio, of Kaplan, and Mrs. Shirley Rung and the late Mr. Paul Rung, of Forked Island.

The groom is the son of the late Harry and Sue Hollier. He is the grandson of Mrs. Wilda Mayard and the late Mr. Raywood Mayard.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gorgeous vintage-style dress, which included a beaded and lace upper bodice that joined at the waist. The satin floor-length gown fell into a chapel train. The bride’s veil featured a birdcage style and was adorned with satin, lace flowers, and crystal. To complete her look, the bride wore vintage ivory lace fingerless gloves and gold accented jewelry. The bride and her entire wedding party wore leopard print shoes. The bride carried a lustrous collection of fall-colored flowers, from dahlias to rust-colored roses.

Lindsay Theriot, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor; and Kaysie Clostio, sister of the bride, Libby Clostio, sister-in-law of the bride, Rani Lege, friend of the bride, and Jessica Comeaux, friend of the bride, served as the bridesmaids during the ceremony.

The bride’s attendants wore cognac-colored floor-length gowns that featured an empire waist and sweetheart neckline by Impressions. To complete their look, they carried a single ivory-colored peony with leopard and tiger-striped feathers as accent. The attendants wore different leopard print shoes and pearl jewelry to complement their ensemble.

Brent Frick, brother-in-law of the groom, served as best man; and D.J. Mouton, friend of the groom, Corey Clostio, brother-in-law of the groom, Devin Guillory, cousin of the groom, and Chris Comeaux, friend of the groom, served as the groomsmen during the ceremony.

Wearing a gown that matched the bride’s, Sadie Sonnier, daughter of the bride, served as the flower girl; and Aiden Clostio, godchild of the bride, and Ian Frick, godchild of the groom, served as the ring bearers during the ceremony.

Jason Pugh, friend of the bride and groom, and Patin Breaux, uncle of the groom, served as the ushers during the ceremony.

The mother of the bride wore a long satin chocolate handmade gown. The gown featured a V-neckline and ruching at the waist. To complete her look, the mother of the bride wore a satin chocolate bolero and a beautiful fall-themed corsage.

All the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages were handmade by the bride.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Jennifer Harris, who played the organ and sang “Ave Maria.”

Readings were given by Jenni Frick, sister of the groom, and Courtney Soirez, friend of the bride and groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The American Legion of Kaplan Hall.

Upon returning from a honeymoon to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the couple will reside in Kaplan.
