Sydne’Angelle Jolivette graduated from Grambling State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology on Friday, December 16, 2010 at the Frederick C. Hobby Assembly Center in Grambling, Louisiana. She is the daughter of Felicia Smith, of Washington, D.C. and Samuel Pierre of Lafayette, Louisiana. Her maternal grandparents are Margaret and Walter Jolivette, Jr. of Gueydan, and her great-grandparents the late Alma and Doris Wilson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jolivette, Sr. Her parental grandmother is Mrs. Wilda Pierre of Lafayette.
