Bands enjoy Hawaii performance

Members of the North Vermilion and Erath High School Band traveled to Hawaii in December to participate in a mass band performance to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor. More than 600 students from throughout the country lined up on the pier in front of the USS Missouri and performed patriotic selections. In attendance were Pearl Harbor survivors, active military personnel, and veterans. Band directors Kenny Broussard and Jude Gaspard were asked to bring a small group to perform on the Honolulu morning news show.
