The bride is the daughter of Rusty and Judy Trahan, of Abbeville. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Preston Trahan and the late Glayds Trahan, of Abbeville, and the late Mr. Dua Trahan Sr., and the late Lovenia Trahan, of Kaplan.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymon Dartez Jr., of Crowley. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Mary Dartez, of Kaplan.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory A-line strapless gown, which featured a side drape. The detailed lace bodice and split back skirt fell into a chapel train.
Amber Nicole Trahan, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor, and Oreline Paige Stanley, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Kristen Nicole Carpenter and Lauren Brooke Hebert, friends of the bride, served as bridesmaids during the ceremony.
The bridal attendants wore floor-length chocolate-colored dresses and carried a light brown with ivory flower scepter.
McKenzie Paige Cormier, godchild of the bride, served as flower girl and Grant Vaughn, good friend of the bride, served as ring bearer. Kalin Guidry, daughter of the groom, served as the miniature bride, and Travor Broussard, nephew of the bride, served as the miniature groom.
Raymond Dartez Jr., father of the groom, served as best man. Kolby Foris, friend of the groom, Emery Guidry, friend of the groom, and Rusty Trahan Jr., brother of the bride, served as the groomsmen during the ceremony.
Travis Lange, cousin of the bride, and Shawn Lebouf, best friend of the bride, served as ushers during the ceremony.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Terry Bessard.
Readings were given by Elaine Trahan, bride of the aunt, and Barbara Trahan, godmother of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Woodmen of the World.
The couple plans to reside in Abbeville.
