The bride is the daughter of Robert and Sandy DeRouen, of Breaux Bridge. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James LeBlanc and the late Mrs. Vilia LeBlanc, of Breaux Bridge, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert DeRouen, of Lafayette.
The groom is the son of Russell and Lisette Suire, of Erath, and Joey Broussard and Jeffrey Johson, of Lafayette. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll DeMarcy and the late Mrs. Ruby DeMarcy, of Abbeville, and Mr. and Mrs. Roland Broussard, of Abbeville.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Lea-Ann Belter, Canadian designer, gown of ivory dupioni silk featuring a strapless bodice adorned with French Alencon lace. The mermaid skirt flared out at the knee with a chapel train and silk buttons extended the length of the bodice. The bride completed the ensemble with a single layer cathedral veil, a Swarovski beaded sash, and a clutch bouquet of light pink peonies.
April Milam, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Chantele Broussard, sister of the groom, and Brandy Broussard, sister of the groom, served as bridesmaids and Jaci Miliam, niece of the bride, and Graci Fabiano, niece of the groom, served as junior bridesmaids.
Bree Milam, godchild of the bride, and Olivia Fabiano, niece of the groom, served as the flower girls.
T.K. Fontenot, best friend of the groom, served as best man. Zachary Broussard, friend of the groom, and Brandon Milam, brother-in-law of the bride, served as groomsmen.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Fleur de Lis Ballroom at City Club, Lafayette.
Upon returning from a wedding trip to Oahu, Hawaii, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
