KAPLAN - A 10 year old Kaplan Elementary student was charged with simple battery after she allegedly slapped another student three times which resulted in a trip to the hospital.

De Primeaux says when her daughter stepped off the bus, she was holding a handful of tissue to stop her nose from bleeding. The daughter told her mother the bloody nose was a result of being slapped three times by another student.

After bringing her to the Kaplan hospital for X-Rays, it was determined she had a fractured nose. Primeaux then filed a complaint with the Kaplan Police.

After interviewing the girl accused of hitting the Primeaux girl, Chief of Police Boyd Adams says she was chargedwith simple battery.

The case now goes to the district attorney.

If she is slapping people at 10 years old, what will she do when she is 16? Seriously? Please do something about bullying. No one has the right to put their hands on anyone else! STOP BULLYING NOW!!!
