Dylon Hoffpauir, an 2010 Erath High graduate who never did cheerleading in high school, earned a spot on the LSU Cheerleader squad for next year.

He is the son of Joel and Rachel Hoffpauir of Erath., grandson of Calvin and Ruth (Mergist) Landry of Erath and Norman and Della Hoffpauir of Kaplan.

He moved to Baton Rouge in August of 2010 and began his first semester at LSU. Shortly after he was selected to represent the university as an LSU Ambassador--”the Faces of LSU”. He was selected as a member of the FOAP team and served as LSU Freshmen Orientation Leader.

He is currently an active member of the LSU Dance Ensemble. Hoffpauir is a member of the LSU Homecoming Committee.

Hoffpauir is also employed by Precision Athletes of Baton Rouge as Public Relations Manager.

He is a sophomore at LSU, studying Mass Communication: Public Relations.
