Fishing for Memories Tournament is June 21-24 in Intracoastal City.

Tickets are now available at the following locations: Abbeville Snapper, Acadiana Outfitters, Dagos, Dale’s Texaco, Don’s Landing, Five Oaks Grocery, Gulfway Sporting Goods, Maw & Paw’s Bait Shop, Maxie Pierce Grocery, T-Coon’s Restaurant & West Marine.

Anglers in the adult division compete for over $12,000 in cash prizes with $30 fishing tickets. Youth compete for lifetime fishing licenses with $10 fishing tickets. Fishing for Memories fishing tickets make great Father’s Day gifts!

The tournament is trying to reach the 500 fishermen milestone.

• Thursday, June 21, 2012 – The competition begins at 12:01a.m. (no weigh in on this day).

• Friday, June 22, 2012 – Food and beverages will be sold.

5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Scales open

8:00 p.m. - Live music by Jaryd Lane

• Saturday, June 23, 2012 – Food and beverages will be sold.

1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Scales open

5:00 p.m. - Children’s activities begin

8:00 p.m. - Live music by Jamie Bergeron & the Kickin’ Cajuns



Sunday, June 24, 2012 – Food and beverages will be sold.

10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Scales open

11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Live music by the 14 and Under Cajun Band

The auction and awards ceremony will follow.
