He will be laid to rest at Bancker Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the services.
Harris was a certified hair stylist who studied at Vidal Sassoon in Los Angeles, California. He had a love of knowledge and was an avid reader. He also had a love for gardening and bird watching on the porch while drinking his morning coffee. He took great pleasure spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his mother, Paulette Labit Albarado of Abbeville; four sisters, Dayna Holden and her husband, David of Crowley, Twyla Broussard and her husband, Bryan of Ocala, Florida, Renee Collingwood of Pierre Part and Tessa Flory and her husband, Mark of Kaplan; numerous nieces and nephews; godson, Brock Flory; special niece, Devin Holden and his beloved Chihuahua, Precious.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harris J. Albarado, Sr.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Monday, August 6, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.
