According to Chief Rick Coleman and Sheriff Mike Couvillon, the Vermilion Parish Municipal Narcotics Task Force made one narcotic arrest.

Agents with the Task Force executed a search warrant at the resident of Terence Levine, located at 300B South Miles Street in Abbeville, La.

Once inside the residence, Task Force Agents located several plastic bags containing a white powder substance in the kitchen area and in the subjects’ bathroom. The substance was suspected to be powdered Cocaine and field tested positive as such.

Task Force Agents then arrested the 27-year-old Terence Levine, who was residing at the resident at the time the Search Warrant was executed.

Levine was transported to the Vermilion Parish Correctional Center and booked with Possession of Marijuana and Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine.

The Vermilion Parish Municipal Narcotics Task Force would like to thank the Abbeville Police Department Patrol Division and the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division for their assistance.

Chief Coleman and Sheriff Couvillon would like to take this opportunity to notify all drug dealers the Task Force will be relentless and very aggressive in pursuing you if you continue to deal drugs in our cities and the parish.
