The Fair will start at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 12:00 p.m. Free screenings such as blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and body mass index will be available in addition to a wide variety of health and wellness information. United Blood Services will have a mobile unit for people interested in donating blood. In addition to the information for adults, fingerprinting and child DNA safety kits for children will be available. The Health Fair is sponsored by the LSU AgCenter, Vermilion Volunteers for Family & Community Education, Inc. and the Vermilion Parish Library System.
