Kesha is the daughter of Helen Viator and the late Mr. Steve Viator of Erath. She is the grand daughter of Annie Mae Benoit and the late Wilson Lloyd Benoit of Erath and the late Percy Viator of Abbeville and the late Goldie Louvierre of New Iberia.
Francis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Touchet, Sr. of Abbeville. He is the grandson of Jeanne Touchet and the late Elias Touchet of Forked Island and the late Edith Hargrave and the late Wilbert Hargrave of Kaplan.
The bride wore a natural chiffon strapless sweetheart couture bridal gown, directionally ruched bodice adorned with jeweled accents along the neckline and Empire waistline, soft A-line skirt with split front apron, jeweled motifs on back skirt and a chapel length train. She completed her attire with an elbow length veil, accented with a crystal tier and beaded edge. She wore crystal chandelier earrings that also matched her dress. Her attire was finished by wearing elegant silk peep-toe shoes with a sparkling rhinestone broach on the top. She carried a clutch bouquet of antique hydrangea, generaldine, ociana, blush and big fun ruses with peach stock accented with feathers and an initial crystal broach.
In the wedding party, Crystal Romero, cousin of the bride, served as the Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids for the event included Natalie Sonnier, friend of the bride; Robin Girouard, friend of the bride; Melissa Mire, cousin of the bride; and Hannah Landry, cousin of the bride.
The Bridesmaids wore spaghetti strap long chiffon dresses with beaded empire waists in a beautiful shade of mermaid. They wore Swarovski crystal necklaces with matching earrings that were gifts from the bride. They carried clutch bouquet of orange and big fun roses, hot pink neurine lilies and antique hydrangeas with peacock feathers accented with a crystal broach.
Cami Romero, cousin of the bride, served as the Flower Girl, while Jacques Touchet, son of the groom, served as the Ring Bearer. The miniature bride for the event was Maci Viator, daughter of the bride, and the miniature groom was Jean-Paul Touchet, son of the groom.
The Junior Bride and Flower Girls wore crystal accented spaghetti straps with a beaded crystal bodice over full tulle skirt. The Jr. Bride outfit accented her attire with an ivory elbow length veil, accented with crystal tier and beaded edge. She carried a miniature version of the bride’s bouquet, accented with an adorable crystal broach of a dancer. The Flower Girl accented her attire with a mermaid sash that wrapped around the waist. She carried a rose pomanders ball accented with jewels and accessorized with a crystal broach. They finished their attires by wearing heeled flower girl sandals that were adorned with crystal broaches.
The Best Man of the wedding was Rob Roy, a friend of the groom. Standing as Groomsmen were Austin Touchet, son of the groom; Chris Touchet, brother of the groom; Jade Viator, brother of the bride; and Brady Barras, friend of the groom. Ushers for the ceremony included Trevor Trahan, cousin of the bride; Andre’ Benoit, godchild of the bride; and Cade Romero, cousin of the bride.
Music for the ceremony was provided by John Comeaux and Frankie Romero. Readings were given by Robert Klingman, Jr., a friend of the bride; and Billy Barras, friend of the groom. Gift bearers for the Nuptial Mass included Rachael Binion, sister of the groom; and Pam Barras, friend of the groom. Program attendants were Mallory Landry, cousin of the bride and Bailey Landry, friend of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Erath Community Center. After a wedding trip, the couple plan to reside in Abbeville.
